The machine is also praised for its outstanding camera for video calls.

14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro takes the top spot in global ranking in the Music, Video, and Camera experience

The M3 MacBook Pro features the same design as its M2 counterpart. However, the company ensured the device felt like it was adequately refreshed with internal upgrades. There is no doubt that the latest M3 Pro MacBook Pro features the best speaker setup on the market right now. We have previously compared how the speakers stack up against the competition, and the results are surprising. DxOMark has conducted an in-depth analysis of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, revealing that it features the best speaker setup on any laptop they have tested.

The publication also states that the video performance is best-in-class compared to the competition. The 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro features a mini-LED display, which delivers higher contrast ratios and improved brightness levels over standard LCD panels. Note that Apple is expected to switch to OLED panels in 2027, which will further improve the image and video quality of the new MacBook Pro models with deeper blacks and saturation. Additionally, mini-LED displays can get plenty bright, which is potentially one of the reasons why the MacBook delivers the best video experience. DxOMark also highlights some of the negative aspects of the machine, such as difficulty in managing duplex speech in video calls, monophonic audio, and lack of saturation and contrast on SDR video playback. Other than this, the 14-inch MacBook Pro delivers astounding results.
