AMD isn't swimming in cash just yet, but if this latest survey is any indication the company is well on its way to doing just that. According to a new survey conducted by 3DCenter AMD's Ryzen 5 is by far the best received CPU product launch since they started doing these surveys backin 2010.
84% of individuals polled had a "positive" view on Ryzen 5, while 17.5% were indifferent and only 6.7% held a negative outlook on the product. By comparison, only 12% held a positive outlook on Intel's Kaby Lake while 45.3% said they were indifferent and42.7% had a negative view on Kaby Lake.

A poll was conducted in the same fashion as when the Ryzen 7 series were introduced. 74.6% of those polled viewedRyzen 7 favorably, 17.5% were indifferent and 7.9% had a negative outlook on the processors. The only CPU family from Intel that contended with Ryzen's popularity was Sandy Bridge. Which did slightly better than Ryzen 7 but did not come close to Ryzen 5.
Another fascinating portion of the survey asked those polled to express if they had any interest in actually buying the product. In this area Ryzen 7 did best, followed by Ryzen 5 and Sandy Bridge.
