Android 6 Marshmallow rolloutdetails:

Google is expected to announce the new Nexus devices, LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P, at its event in San Francisco on Tuesday, September 29. We will also see the company talking about the upcoming version of the Android mobile operating system. The event invites talked abouts'moresclearly hinting to the Android 6 Marshmallow update. Google will share the availability details of the next update in the event too. While Android is not really popular for its adoption rates, Nexus devices are always at the front line getting the new updates sooner than any other device.

According to this software release schedule, following the event on September 29, Google will be ready to roll out Android 6 Marshmallow to the older Nexus devices in less than a week. However, it should be noted here that October 5th is only the day when the update will start rolling out, not when all the devices would receive it. The information shared above appears to be three months old, but the source claims that it's been recently updated.

We suppose it might take a week or two longer for Google to roll the update to older Nexus devices.Last year Nexus 6, announced on October 15,started selling on October 29 with Lollipop hitting older Nexus smartphones only after November 12. Folks atMobileSyrupthink that Google might be ready for earlier Android 6.0 Marshmallow roll out as the operating system doesn't bring in any significant feature changes with more focus on stability and performance improvements this year.

Let's see when does the new Marshmallow come to beautify our Nexus smartphones. Let us know what you think of the new Android operating system if you have been trying the developer previews.
