Leading motherboard maufacturer ASRock, today launched its latest Z77 OC Formula motherboard featuring premium quality components for overclocking enthusiasts.

The Z77 OC Formula packs a12 + 4 Digi Power VRM Design while the CPU socket is powered through the 24 Pin ATX and 8+4 Pin connectors. The motherboard is built with high quality componentsconsistingofPremium Alloy Choke (PAC),Dual-Stack MOSFET (DSM),Multiple Filter Cap (MFC) and an 8 Layer PCB design which provides additional stability.

ASRock added to the Z77 OC Formula theTwin-Power Cooling design which combines water and air-cooling to cool the power area on the motherboard. For further cooling, ASRock provides aGELID GC-Extreme Thermal Compound with in the package for usage with the processor.

The motherboard has four DIMM slots allowing for 32GB of Dual channel memory support with speeds of uptoDDR3 3000+(OC) including support forIntelExtreme Memory Profile - (XMP) 1.3 / 1.2. The Expansion slots consist of two PCI-e 3.0 x16, one PCI-e 2.0 x16 and two PCI-e 2.0 x1 slots with support for AMD CrossFireX and NVIDIA SLI technologies.

Storage includes2 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors by the IntelZ77and4 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors by Marvell SE9172 chip. The Z77 PCH also offer 2 Rear and 1 Front USB 3.0 port while theEtron EJ188H controller provides 4 USB 3.0 ports at the back.
