Asus Zenfone 10 Brings A 5.9-Inch Display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Wireless Charging, And More For $599-July 2024

The Asus Zenfone 10 is finally here, and for those who have been wondering what Asus' latest flagship has to offer, it is everything you could have hoped for and more. In a world where other companies are trying to release the biggest smartphone possible with the most features, Asus is handling things differently as the company has released a gorgeous phone that has all the stellar specs you could ask for and is very pocketable, too.

Asus Zenfone 10 proves how compact flagships can still exist without actually cutting too many corners

The Asus Zenfone 10 brings what you would expect from a flagship, you are getting the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the hood, and the phone is even available in five playful colors for anyone who is looking to stand out a bit more than usual. You get an IP68 rating, a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, and a customizable button for shortcuts.

The star of the show, however, is the 5.9-inch OLED display that boasts a respectable 1080p resolution, a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, you are getting the Gorilla Glass Victus, and the Asus Zenfone 10 is nicely packaged at just 172 grams, making it one of the lighter premium devices.

On the back of the Asus Zenfone 10, you find a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, you will find a 13-megapixel camera for selfies. Now, I do understand that the camera arrangement is not what most people would want as there is a lack of a telephoto lens, but I have a feeling that telephoto lenses are no longer as in demand as ultra-die angle lenses.

I previously mentioned how the Asus Zenfone 10 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Well, you are also getting RAM that goes up to 16 gigs and storage that goes up to 512 gigs. There's also a headphone jack if you still prefer connecting your headphones and blasting away to your favorite tunes. Powering the phone is a 4,300 mAh battery, 15W wireless charging, and 30W wired charging, and while these might not be the most glamorous specifications, you are still getting something really nice.

Asus is also planning on selling a list of Connex accessories for the Asus Zenfone 10, and these accessories include a kickstand and a wallet. Here is hoping that we see some more accessories, including some for the cameras, because why not.

As far as the pricing and availability are concerned, the Asus Zenfone 10 is going to cost you €799 or $500 when it eventually launches in the U.S. The phone is available in five colors -- green, blue, red, white, and black.
