Colorfire had come up with their own custom cooling solution for the AMD Radeon HD 7870 known as the HD 7870 XStorm.
The 7870 XStorm packs a custom air cooling solution with 5 heatpipes coming out of the main GPU cooler die and a 12 cm fan on top of the cooling fins for heat dispersion.
The card also comes with a back plate and as it seems will feature the Power Phase count increase here from 8 to 12. The card is also more focused of keeping a relatively low sound out put noise and as per Lei Feng’s policy, the card will come with a few overclocking features so one can expect higher clocks than the reference 7870 on the XStorm as the name implies to itself.
