DeepCool Aeolus Big Frost Dual-Tower CPU Heatsink Detailed-February 2024
Feb 13, 2026 12:14 AM

Last shown at Computex 2012, DeepCool's Aeolus Big Frost "Dual-Tower" heatsink has been spotted once again as a more refined andpolishedversion.

The DeepCool Aeolus Big frost is a dual tower heatsink which hastwo symmetric aluminum fin stacks through which six 6mm copper heatpipes run dissipating heat from the copper CPU base. Air is provided through two PWM controlled 120mm fans which offer push-pull configuration. Overall the heatsink is a simplified version of the Assassin Dual Tower cooler from DeepCool.

The fan which pushes the air towards the heatsink block is maintained at1,300 RPM with 22.6 dBA noise levels while the second fan runs around900-1,500 RPM, with 21.4 to 32.1 dBA noise levels.

The cooler is compatible with almost every current CPU socket which includesIntel LGA2011, LGA1155/LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA775, AMD AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2, and FM2/FM1. Cooler would be sold in China for 200RMB or $32 US.
