Face it, beta software is not what you expect it to be. You install it in the hopes for a brand new experience, but you end up getting a bad one for a number of reasons. Backup Everything

This is a slightly complicated method. It involves creating a USB installer drive of macOS Catalina, then performing a clean install. This method is particularly useful if you don't have access to a very fast internet connection and wish to keep a USB installer of macOS Catalina for safe-keeping anyway. Install macOS Using the Internet

This involves no USB drives at all. You just boot your Mac up, press down a couple of keys on the keyboard, jump into Internet Recovery and perform a clean install from there. This method is very, very convenient and is perfect for those who have a fast internet connection at home.
