Google officially unveiled Android M at Google I/O 2015 keynote event. Building upon the basics of Material Design and Android Lollipop, the latest unnamed and unnumbered Android release adds in some essential features in the OS. Android Mnow focuses more on privacy with streamlined app permissions and better battery life with doze mode. Support for fingerprint and USB-C is also included among other features.

The latest OS is only available to developers for Nexus 5, 6, 9, and Nexus Player. However,there's no reason why you can't taste some of its features ahead of its release later in the year. Thanks to Android M system images available for the aforementioned Nexus devices, you too can enjoy the new features of this latest OS.
