Apple released iOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, and additional updates on Wednesday with a boatload of significant features and changes. The company has now released beta 1 of its upcoming iOS 17.2, watchOS 10.2, macOS Sonoma 14.2, and tvOS 17.2 update to developers. The latest beta builds will further enhance Apple's operating systems for their respective devices. If you are a developer, you can download and install the latest build on your compatible devices.

If you are a registered developer, iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 beta 1 will be available over the air on your compatible iPhone and iPad. Navigate to Settings > General > Software Updates > Beta Updates > and install your device's latest iOS 17 beta build. Ensure your Apple ID is linked to your Apple Developer account.

Besides iOS 17.2, Apple has also released beta 1 of watchOS 10.2. To install watchOS 10.2 on your wearable, head over to your iPhone's dedicated Apple Watch app, go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and install the latest watchOS 10.2 beta 1. Note that your Apple Watch should have over 50 percent battery life and be plugged into a power source. Furthermore, your Apple Watch should be in the range of your iPhone and connected to a working internet connection.

Apple has also released macO Sonoma 14.2 beta 1 alongside iOS 17.2, which can also be downloaded on compatible Macs. If you are a registered developer, you can download and install macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 1 via the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. Under the Beta updates, toggle on the Sonoma Developer Beta option. Like previous beta builds, your Apple ID should be connected to your developer account.

Lastly, Apple has also released tvOS 17.2 beta 1 to developers for testing. If you want to install the latest build on your Apple TV, head over to Settings and opt into the beta program. Again, your Apple ID must be linked with a developer account.
