[Update]: Android N Developer Preview 3- the first “beta-quality” version of theAndroid N - has now started rolling out.

You can download from here.

Google is going all excited at its I/O event today, but there are several excitements that it wants to share with you too. If you have been wantingto installAndroid N and try out all its250 new features, now is the time to do that. Google is making it easier for everyone today to try new Android N features with the launch of first everAndroid N public beta. This Android N beta will be stable enough to run on a primary phone, which means you don'thave to be a developer or an enthusiast to get some new flavors on your phone paired with tons of issues.

Android N beta is designedfor everyone

Google released Android N developer preview a couple of months back, but it wasn't intended for an average joe since the first previews of an OS are never bug-free. After getting feedback and improving the operating system, Android N is now apparentlyimproved enough to be tried and tested by everyone out there.Once installed, users will receive OTA update notifications for any latest beta releases of Android N.

The Android Beta Program gives you an opportunity to try out pre-release versions of Android and provide feedback. Devices that you opt into the program will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest beta version of Android N.

Users can also choose to try further features that are still not approved for the Beta program to"preview future Android N maintenance releases (MRs)."Again, so far only Nexus devices seem to be eligible for this program, including Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and the General Mobile 4G Android One. But, stability is the main focus here.

The final build of the latest version of Android won't be ready until the end of the summer. Today's build is actually the third preview of Android N, qualifying as the beta release. Want to get Android N on your smartphone? Head over toAndroid website, sign in with your Google accountand find out all the details of the program.
