The original iPhone has become an artifact that sells for thousands of dollars at auctions. Every now and then, we come across a sealed original iPhone that goes up for auction and fetches thousands of dollars. Currently, the record high is $63,000 for the original iPhone. When the original iPhone went up on auction, we speculated that it will fetch a higher price due to the rare Apple sticker. Well, it seems the sticker played very little role.

It was estimated that the sealed iPhone would fetch an average of $50,000. However, it barely cut the initial point. Nonetheless, it is amazing to see how an unopened original iPhone could fetch as much as $40,000 at auction.
