A new video detailing Gigabyte's upcomingZ68XP-UD3-iSSD has been uploaded on YouTube. TheGigabyte Z68XP-UD3-iSSD is the world's first motherboard which would feature an onboardIntel mSATA 20GB SLC SSD which is 4 times faster than conventional HDD (Hard Disk Drives) and provide upto 60% performance increase over the 7200RPM Hard Disks. The motherboard supports Intel's Latest 2nd Generation Core i Series (Sandy Bridge) Processors which are supported by the LGA1155 Socket (Z68 Chipset). There are four DDR3 memory slots which can support upto 32GB of memory running at frequencies of2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz in Dual Channel Mode. Dual way SLI and CrossfireX GPU configurations (x8 x8 electrical) are supported .

Storage options include 2 x SATA 3Gbps and 4 x SATA 6 Gbps ports while theMarvell 88SE9172 chip allows another2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors with support forSATA RAID 0 and RAID 1 setup. A total of14 USB 2.0/1.1 ports(8 ports on the back panel, 6 ports available through the internal USB headers)are located on the motherboard. The 20GB SSD could be used as a primary OS Storage drive for better performance while loading apps and boot time.

The board also features Integrated Graphics support for Core i series processors allowing display through 1 x HDMI Port providing a maximum resolution of 1920x1200. Backpanel I/O featuresPS/2 keyboard/mouse port, HDMI port, optical S/PDIF Out connector, IEEE 1394 port, 8 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports, 2 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports and 6 channel audio jack.
