It would not be outlandish to say that the Galaxy A5x series is the bread and butter for Samsung as the company sells a lot of these devices every single year. The price is excellent on its own, but the phone delivers so much more than just the price - the specs are great, the phone normally has a lot of features from its higher-end counterparts, and it is an overall great value for money. Now, the Galaxy A55 has leaked to continue this tradition.
The Galaxy A55 continues Samsung's tradition of making small changes to its overall design DNA
The Galaxy A55 renders have surfaced today, showing us the design language Samsung is gunning for. It has been some time since the company tried to ensure that all the series had harmonized designs across the board. That is why, regardless of the Samsung phone you look at, they do look identical, which is great for brand image.

Looking at the design, I really love the direction Samsung has taken with the Galaxy A55. However, the right side of the phone seems to have a raised portion where the power and volume buttons are housed. The rest of the frame is flat, though. I am not sure why the company decided to go with this design choice, but there could be an explanation.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Galaxy A55 is said to bring the following:
Display:6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protectionChipset:Exynos 1480 chipset, AMD GPURAM:8GBStorage:128GB/256GB storageRear Cameras:50MP primary camera, OIS, 12MP ultra-wide lens,5MP macro sensorFront Camera:32MPBattery:5,000mAh, 25W fast charging
Honestly, I do like the direction that Samsung is headed in with the Galaxy A55. It borrows some elements from the S series devices, of course, but it also manages to keep its own identity. Aside from the raised portion on the right of the device, everything looks even, and that is the look that separates properly designed smartphones from other offerings in the market.
