Perhaps due to the higher pricing, it could be assumed the Galaxy Note 10 notes would be off to a rocky start and wouldn’t garner as much popularity as Samsung would have liked. Well, according to the latest update from the company, both the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus have broken a new record for the Korean giant, even if that record was secured in the country’s home turf.

Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy Note 10 Plus Were Collectively Able to Sell 1 Million Units in 25 Days

According to the latest report from Yonhap, Samsung released the 5G variant of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus in South Korea. In just 25 days after both phones launched on Monday, they surpassed the one-million sales mark. In fact, Samsung claims that the first-month performance of the Galaxy Note 10 sales is the best among the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series, and reaching more than double the figure than its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 9 was able to attain.

The previous record was held by the Galaxy S8, a flagship launched back in 2017. This device sold over 1 million units in the first 37 days of its launch, followed by the Galaxy S2, and then the Galaxy S10. Despite the high price tag of both the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, they still managed to break a sales record held by a model with a cheaper price tag.

As for the sales ratio, the report states that the regular Galaxy Note 10 stood at 37 percent, while the Galaxy Note 10 Plus was the more popular version at 63 percent. After seeing these figures, we think Samsung might take a backseat when it comes to mergingthe Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series for next year. However, with the iPhone 11 series launched, it could be an uphill battle for the Korean manufacturer, but let us wait and see what happens in the future.
