Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus Specs Reveal 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage Pairing – Headphone Jack and SD Card Expansion Retained-September 2024

Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus have been leaked to sport blistering specifications in comparison to the Note 8 but what else would we expect moving into 2018? According to the latest leaked information, both of these phones are expected to feature 6GB RAM which is going to be complemented by 128GB of internal storage.

Headphone Jack, SD Card Expansion and IP68 Water-Resistance Could Be Maintained on Both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus

These specifications come from Benjamin Geskin, who’s popularity earlier stemmed from a ton of iPhone X leaks. According to him, both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will feature 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of storage. These specifications kick the Galaxy Note 8 straight in the gut as the latter just features 64GB of onboard memory.

Still, lots of critics have labeled the Note 8 as perhaps the best Android smartphone to buy in 2017, and there are archaic technologies that the company continues to incorporate, such as the headphone jack, which is quite impressive because it is still able to maintain an overall premium standing of the handset.

We believe that Samsung will adopt the headphone jack in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus while allowing SD card expansion up to 256GB plus IP68 water-resistance, which has started to become a common occurrence ever since the inception of the Galaxy S6.

Both of these phones could also tout a dual-camera sensor because now that we have started to move into 2018, we expect to see more of these features proliferate in premium flagships. Also, we strongly believe that the higher storage models have been leaked because the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus could be the first phones from Samsung to provide support for 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

Pricing details have yet to be leaked, but we will keep you in the loop of things to come, so stay tuned for the latest updates.
