Two upcoming motherboards from Gigabyte "Z77X-UP4 TH and Z77X-UP5 TH" have been exposed and detailed, both motherboards feature top notch features for enthusiasts and dual thunderbolt ports.

Z77X-UP5 TH:

First up is the GigabyteZ77X-UP5 TH which features an all out Ultra Durable 5 PCB design. CPU is powered by a 12 Phase VRM which makes use ofFerrite Core Chokes andInternational Rectifer IR3550M DrMOS for higherefficiencyover traditional MOSFETs. ACHiL IR3563A chip regulates 6 Power Phases while there are four DDR3 slots which allow for 1600MHz+ memory support. Alongside the ram slots arePower/Reset/Clear CMOS buttons and a Diagnostic LED.

For I/O there's tons of features which include DVI/HDMI/VGA display ports, Dual Thunderbolt ports,Six USB ports (4 USB 3.0),eSATA and Gigabit Ethernet. There's also a 7.1 Channel Audio Jack located at the I/O slot. TheIntel DSL3510L Cactus Ridge 4C host controller powers the Dual Thunderbolt ports. Storage includes 4 SATA II and 2 SATA III 6GBps ports. One SATA port would be disabled if users utilize the mSATA output located on the PCB.

Expansion slots include 3 PCI-e x1, Single PCI slot and three PCIe 3.0 x 16 ports though the last one runs at standard x16. Adual antenna Atheros802.11 abgn + BT Module is bundled within the package while the motherboard would cost $249 whenavailable.

Z77X-UP4 TH:

The Second motherboard detailed is the Gigabyte Z77X-UP4 TH which is basically a cut down version of the UP5 featuring a 10 Phase VRM layout utilizingIR3550 integrated MOSFET with maximum current of 60A. An ChilIR3567 chip maintains the 6+2 Phase power supply while there's also Dual BIOS support for the motherboard incase of overclocking failures.

A Dual Channel DDR3 memory controller offers 32GB of 1600MHz memory support. I/O featuresVGA, DVI and HDMI display outputs, Dual Thunderbolt ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 6 USB 3.0 ports and a 7.1 Channel Audio Jack. Storage includes the same 2 SATA III and 4 SATA II ports.

The motherboard would be available at $189.99 when available in the market.
