Global PC Shipments to Reach "Positive" Figures In Q3 2024, Rapid Growth Expected by 2024

Canalys believes that the upcoming quarters can be seen as a "delight" for the PC segment, mainly since it has been facing negative financial results for the past seven consecutive quarters. The market researcher predicts a 5% YoY growth in global shipments in the upcoming quarter, courtesy of the industry's dynamic shift towards "artificial intelligence" applications, along with traditional factors such as consumer upgrade cycles and the emergence of next-gen hardware products.

Moreover, Canalys has also predicted the year "2024" as progressive for the PC markets, since shipments are forecasted to grow by 8%, reaching up to 267 million units. Here is what Canalys analyst Ben Yeh has to say about the upcoming state of the PC industry:
