How To Make Your Password Secure Using AI-February 2024
Feb 12, 2026 8:21 PM

The dawn of AI is finally here, with so many different takes on artificial intelligence surfacing almost every single day. Needless to say, AI is here to stay, and while there are a lot of benefits, there are also some downsides to it. For instance, we recently reported a study in which an AI-powered tool was able to crack some pretty secure passwords within a matter of minutes, and knowing the power of AI, it is only going to get more and more mighty as we progress. However, what if I tell you that you can make your password secure using AI?

Home Security Heroes has developed a rather nice tool that actually lets you figure out how long it will take AI to crack your software. While I would not bet my passwords on this tool, it actually gives you peace of mind that your passwords are indeed secure, or well... insecure. That is why, if you want to make your password secure using AI, this one is for you.

This tool helps you make your password strong using AI

So, the tool that we are talking about doesn't really ask you to download anything. All you have to do is visit a website, and you are good to go. But how do you even make your password strong using AI in the first place? Let's have a look.

Step 1:Simply head over here.

Step 2:You will be greeted with a website that says, "An AI cracked your password."

Step 3:Scroll down a bit, and you will see "Enter a random password."

Step 4:Now, enter your current password, and the website will tell you how long it will take to crack the password.

Step 5:I decided to enter the credentials of one of my accounts, and this is the result I got.

If your password is on the weaker side, I would highly advise that you change it because even though the tool around which the study is based is not available, it still gives us an insight as to just how dangerous AI-powered tools can be, especially when they are in malicious hands.
