Here's how you can quickly and efficiently access all your drafts in the stock iOS Mail app for iPhone and iPad.
Accessing Drafts Should be Easy - Therefore Learn this Shortcut to Make LifeSimple
If you are looking for an email client that gets the job done without over the top features, then look no further than the stock iOS Mail app. It might not feature the bells and whistles of other clients such as Airmail, Spark, Gmail or even Outlook, but it handles basic tasks in the most elegant fashion ever. And if you happen to make do with the app on a daily basis, then we are going to highlight a little tip for our readers that makes the process of accessing drafts far more easier than it actually is.
The Old Method
Previously, you had to go to the main Mailboxes view in the iOS Mail app and then select the Drafts folder. It gets the job done, sure, but it's that one tap extra that seems like a bit too much.
Try this Method Instead
Instead of going back to the main Mailboxes view, simply tap and hold on the Composenew mail button on the bottom right and you will seeall your drafts in one place. See how convenient this is compared to the old method? I'm sure you are going to start using this one from now on. After all, it's easy to follow and you don't have to go through any sort of trouble at all. And in case you are wondering, you can delete a draft from here too. Simply swipe left on any draft and then tap on Trash.
Wrap Up
Though I make use of Sparkon a regular basis, but it's something about the iOS Mail app that keeps on bringing me back for more. It handles tasks in a very brilliant manner. And since it's a stock app, therefore it ties in nicely with the rest of the operating system. I really wish this was possible with third-party email apps as well, but hey, there's no way Apple is going to give up control that easy.
