The iOS 16 Lock Screen is definitely the talk of the town at the moment. There are a ton of ways to customize it, and people are taking things further on how it can be used. But, if you're all about the simple life, and just want to see the weather on your Lock Screen and nothing else, then here's how you can set that up for yourself, or someone else.

Tutorial

Step 1. Tap and hold on the Lock Screen.

Step 2. Press on the + sign at the bottom.

Step 3. Now tap on Weather at the top. If your iPhone asks you permission to use your current location for weather, then please do so.

You can even select the 'Weather' Lock Screen under the Featured section and end the tutorial right here since it is the complete package for what you want.

Step 4. Customize the date and time font and color by tapping on it. You may add widgets too if you like. Or just leave everything as is and tap on the Add button on the top right-hand corner.

Note: We will highly recommend adding the Weather widget to the Lock Screen as well since this Lock Screen simply shows the animation for the weather condition that is outside currently. It does not show the temperature at all.

Once set, tap on Add.

Step 5. Tap on Set as Wallpaper Pair.

Step 6. That's it, you're done.

Whenever you unlock your iPhone or slide down from the top, you will get a glorious animated wallpaper of the current weather condition outside. If you set the Weather widget as well, then you can even see stuff like temperature, air quality, and more.
