Stop Automatically Connecting to Wi-Fi Through Taskbar

Click on the Wi-Fi option at the bottom right corner of the taskbar. (Shortcut keys: Win + A)Click on the Wi-Fi icon.

If the Wi-Fi has been connected, click Disconnect.

Uncheck the Connect automatically option.

Control Panel

Click on the search icon on the taskbar and type Control Panel. Click Open.

Click on Network and Internet

Select Network and Sharing Centre

Select Change adapter settings from the left pane.

Select the Wi-Fi connection you are currently using.

Select Wireless properties

In the Connection tab, uncheck Connect automatically when this network is in range.Select OK.

Step-2: Select the Network & Internet from the left pane.

Step-3: Click on Wi-Fi in the left pane.

Step-4: Select the connection you are currently using.
