Samsung phones have easily become the staple went it comes to a great overall Android experience. Sure, you have other options such as the stock Android by Google, Oxygen OS, Color OS, and various other iterations from companies but when you are talking about something definitive, Samsung's One UI has everything that you would want; to a point that you will not feel like rooting your phone and making changes. If you want to use custom icons on Galaxy phones, even that is possible thanks to the limitless customization options.

That is why in this guide, we are going to take a look at how to use custom icons on Galaxy phones. Remember, custom icon packs have always been a huge part of the Android customization market but in the past, you would need to use a supported custom launcher, as well. Nova Launcher, is one of the prime examples. Things started to change when Samsung released One UI as it brought support for custom icons.

Now, on its own, the One UI Home will not be able to let you use custom icons but don't worry, this guide is not going to ask you to root your device.

Install Custom Icons on Galaxy Phones and Customise Your Home Screen

Now, before we get started, this guide will only work on phones running One UI 4.0 and above. If you have anything below, you will not be able to get it working. Additionally, if you want to use custom icons on Galaxy phones, you will need to install Good Lock. Once you have Good Lock installed, look for a module called Theme Park and install that as well.

Once you have downloaded both, you can follow this guide and install custom icons on Galaxy phones.

Step 1: OpenTheme Parkon your Galaxy phone.

Step 2:Once it is opened, tap on Icons.

Step 3:Once you are in the new panel, tap onCreate New.

Step 4:You will be brought to the screen below. Tap on "Iconpack"that is located under the giftbox.

Step 5:This will open a new window that will show you all the custom icons that you have installed on your Galaxy phone. Pick the one that you want to install and Theme Pack will start installing the icon pack.

Step 6:Go back and press the download button on the top right corner.

Step 7:Enter the name of your icon pack, go back, and your icon pack will be available in the same tab you were in step 3. Tap on the icon pack and click on apply. It will take a few seconds but it will apply the icon pack that you have selected.

Now, you can just go back to One UI Home and all your custom icons will be ready. I do understand that this can be confusing for newcomers but when done right, this is one of the most impressive customization features that you can go for.
