Last year’s Huawei P20 series was hailed for its impressive photography and it appears that Huawei would take things up a notch with the upcoming release of the P30 series. The P30 and P30 Pro duo would compete with the Galaxy S10 series, which was unveiled by Samsung just yesterday. While Huawei introduced triple camera lenses on its flagships a year ago, the South Korean has joined the club just now and Huawei took the opportunity to not only rub this into the face of its rival but also profess the superiority of the upcoming P30 series over the Galaxy S10.

The Huawei P30 Series Is Expected to Come With Innovative Zooming Features - Earlier Interview Suggests 10x Hybrid Zoom

Taking a jibe at the number one smartphone maker of the world, Huawei implied that Samsung’s latest offerings are pretty standard and the next best thing is yet to come. This was said in reference to the P30 and the company also revealed that it will be launched on March26. The Chinese smartphone giant says that its upcoming devices would be powerful, precise, and big on performance.

Moreover, Huawei also said that the Samsung Galaxy S10 series has nothing on the P30 series when it comes to zooming. To recap, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus both feature a 12MP sensor for two-times zoomed pictures. On the other hand, last year’s Huawei P20 Pro offered 5x hybrid zoom and it seems that the company would improve on that this year. However, it remains to be seen if the P30 Pro series would offer something like OPPO’S 10x hybrid lossless zoomwhich was teased by the company’s VP recently.

It has also been rumored that the Huawei P30 Pro would feature a quad camera setup, although that wasn’t mentioned in the company’s latest tweets. It appears that Huawei is mocking its rival to make customers wait for its offerings instead of getting enticed by the Galaxy S10 series. Huawei had previously revealed its intentions of becoming the number one smartphone maker of the world, and if the P30’s cameras turn out to be as good as the company is claiming, it could come a step closer to its goals of dethroning Samsung.
