Intel has pushed the launch date of Ivy Bridge based Core i3 desktop processors to Q3 2012 for reasons unknown, The Core i3 processors were initially slated for a June 2012 launch while the Core i7/i5 lineup is expected to launch at this months end.

The Core i3 lineup would include a total of five 22nm CPU's which are listed below:

Core i3-3240 - 3.4GHzCore i3-3240T - 3.0GHzCore i3-3225 - 3.3GHzCore i3-3220 - 3.3GHzCore i3-3220T - 2.8GHz

All processors would feature support for Hyper Threading, Dual Core design and a L3 Cache of 3Mb. Standard models would have a rated TDP of 55W while models with T suffix would feature a 35W TDP design. All models would be coupled with HD 2500 Graphics except theCore i3-3225 which has a HD 4000 Series graphics chip.
