It takes into account the boot-up speed, app launch time, browsing speed, and much more. The iPhone XR running iOS 16.5 boots up faster compared to iOS 17 beta 1. As for the app launch time, the performance is pretty similar on both versions of the software. However, we can see minor stutters and delays on the iPhone XR running iOS 17 beta 1. Nonetheless, the latest update is running quite smoothly since it is the first beta.

As for iPhone 11, iOS 17 beta 1 boots up faster than iOS 16.5, which is a major surprise. While the app launch time is pretty similar, we can see mild stutters and lags across the board.
