Pod2g, the man behind untethered jailbreak solution for A4 devices has done it again and has finally demoed the untethered jailbreak working on an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1. Earlier he was not able to release an untethered jailbreak for A5 devices as he faced some complications until other iOS hackers namely Planetbeing and P0sixninja stepped into the battle zone to aid Pod2g and have finally done it.

Pod2g earlier today updated his blog with a video showing untethered jailbreak running on an iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0.1. The video is shown below.

For those who have not yet updated to iOS 5.0.1 behold that iOS 5.1 is on its way and that iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak exploit will be patched in iOS 5.1, specially Corona released for A4 devices. Therefore update your device to iOS 5.0.1 now and jailbreak untethered via Redsnow 0.9.10b4 as you can’t update to iOS 5.0.1 once iOS 5.1 is released.
