Things finally seem to be getting interesting when it comes to this year's remaining smartphone releases. While Samsung's Mobile head, JK Shin categorically denied any rumors that the company was looking towards an expedited Galaxy Note 5 release to further counter Apple's September launches, looks like folks over at Cupertino have other plans. Ming Chi Kuo of KGI securities seems to have more insider scoop on Apple's upcoming plans in latest report.

Apple Will Be Launching The iPhone 6S In August - Followed By September Release

Following earlier reports claiming to originate from Apple's supply chains, KGI Securities' Ming Chi Kuo reports that Apple is indeed facing some good fortune when it comes to iPhone 6S' component yields. Foxconn has been able to achieve impressive component yield rates, that will allow the manufacturer to secure nearly three-fourths of upcoming iPhone orders. Furthermore, Kuo claims that as a result of this, the iPhone 6S will be launched by Apple in August and will be available for purchase in September.

Kuo also claims that the iPhone 6S will indeed be coming with Force Touch on board. His earlier reports have made similar claims about iPhone specifications. In fact, Apple upgraded its MacBooks this week to Force Touch, so we should be expecting the touch feedback technology to become a regular part of the company's product lineup. He also has some more information about the 12 inch iPad Pro, which seems to have gone on the backburner in recent leaks. According to Kuo, Apple's largest slate to date will be produced entirely for Foxconn. As for the iPhone 6S duo, according to the analyst, the smaller screened variant will account for two-thirds, while the larger screened iPhone will account for 33% of shipments.
