It took just three weeks for the official release of the iPhone X to give the flagship 2 percent of the active installed user baseof iPhones. Thanks to the demand and spiking popularity of the smartphone, Apple analyst Gene Munster says the average selling price of the iPhone is expected to go all the way up to $740.

If millions of customers are going to be spending a minimum of $999 on the iPhone X, you can rest assure that the average selling price is also going to be affected and in a good way.

With the analyst giving his estimates of a $740 average selling price for Apple’s iPhones in 2018, it is far more than the estimate Wall Street investors have detailed, which is $705. For comparison purposes, Apple had an average $619 selling price before the inception of the iPhone X.

In addition to the $999 price tag for the 64GB model, we would say that the price of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus resulted in the increase of the average selling price to some extent.

As Apple incorporates better hardware and technology inside its latest iteration of phones, we are expected to see bigger prices getting detailed by the Cupertino tech giant.

The iPhone 2018 lineup might also encourage Apple to drop the pricing of all three models released this year, which might make it a slightly more popular purchase for consumers that are not willing to spend a $1000 on a new phone.
