NVIDIA, today officiallyintroducedtheir new GeForce 700M Series graphics processing units which are based on the Kepler GK 107/106 architecture. The new GeForce 700M series GPUs combineGPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, and NVIDIA Optimus technology to deliver greater andseamlessperformance to notebook users.

Performance wise, the new Kepler technology helps boost the performance upto 2x - 5x when comparing the GT 720M and and GT 750M to the Intel HD 4000 iGP in titles such as StarCraft II, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, etc at a moderate amount of visual settings on 1366 x 768 resolution. Further performance is added to the GPUs with the introduction of GPU Boost 2.0 technology that uses available power on the GPU and converts it into boost clock when more graphical power is required by applications.

The GeForce 700M series mobile GPUs are now available in notebooks by OEMmanufacturer's, AMD themselves are going to introduce their high-end HD 8970M chip within this month so its possible that the high-end GTX 780 M chip couldn't be far away from launch as it was already leaked in thespecificationslide of a gaming notebook.
