OCZ, today released itsFirmware 1.5 Beta Update for the Vertex 4 series Solid State Drives which further enhances the sequential speeds of the storage devices.

With the new update,maximum read speed on the 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB Vertex 4 SSD variants is increasedto 560 MB/s (up from 550 MB/s) and maximum write speeds are improved by 6% on average.

The highest write speed improvement can be seen on the 256GB SSD of 10%.
