It is that time of the year when OPPO has finally launched its latest flagships - the Oppo Find X6 Pro and Find X6. Both phones come with cutting-edge specs, with the Pro variant capable of delivering everything that the Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn't.
At the moment, the Oppo Find X6 Pro and X6 have only been launched in China. If you are looking for a more affordable alternative, the basic Find X6 is what you need to go with. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, 8 gigs of RAM, triple 50-megapixel cameras on the back, and a 6.74-inch display.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro is proof that other smartphone manufacturers are being lazy in innovating and improving
However, the real start of the show is the Oppo Find X6 Pro which brings a lot of fancy tech. You are getting a class-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood. The phone starts at 12 gigs of RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and has a massive 6.82-inch 1440p display on the back capable of delivering up to 2,500 nits, making it the brightest display on any Android phone in the market.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro is an absolute treat for mobile photographers, sporting a 1-inch sensor, an upgrade that the Galaxy S23 Ultra should have had. The phone is touting a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor, which Sony uses in its RX100 camera. You also get a 50-megapixel ultra-wide/macro camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. Both the primary and telephoto cameras support OIS, and Oppo has also discussed how the 6x hybrid zoom can offer optical-level quality.
In contrast, the digital zoom goes as high as an insane 120x. That's not all. Oppo is also using its neural processing unit MariSilicon X for all the processing and improving the image and video quality even more. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera taking care of the selfies.
Both the Oppo Find X6 Pro and the Find X6 are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. Wired charging is rated at 100W, whereas wireless charging is rated at still enough 50W. The phone also has some unusual additions, such as the IR blaster, a feature we rarely see in modern smartphones.

The phones will be available in green, black, and this stunning white and gold option with vegan leather on the back. Sadly, the pricing and availability are both shrouded. We know these phones are currently available only in China, and we are unsure when they will debut in other countries.
Nevertheless, the Oppo Find X6 Pro proves that Samsung needs to improve its game. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, albeit an excellent phone, might not be able to hold itself against the Oppo's fine contender.
