Patch Tuesday Cumulative Updates Are Live for Windows 10 April 2018 Update, Fall Creators Update, and Other Versions of the OS-March 2024

Microsoft may be in a pickle right now due to the hiccupy rollout of its latest Windows 10 October 2018 Update, but that's not stopping the company from supporting the previous versions of Windows 10. The company has released Windows 10 cumulative updates to several previous versions of the operating system, including the April 2018 Update, Fall Creators Update, Creators Update, and the Anniversary Update.

Windows 10 cumulative update for April 2018 Update (version 1803)

Today's release bumps the build number up to17134.345 (KB4462919), bringing security updates.

Security updates to Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Peripherals, Windows Shell, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Linux, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine.

Patch Tuesday updates for version 1709

Windows 10 cumulative update for the Fall Creators Update bumps the build number up to 16299.726 (KB4462918), bringing security updates to several components of the OS.You can head over to Microsoft to learn about Windows 10 1709 known issues; there are none with the April 2018 Update.

Security updates to Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Shell, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft Scripting Engine, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine.

Apart from these, Microsoft has also released Windows 10 cumulative update toversion 1703Build 15063.1387 (KB4462937), and version 1607Build 14393.2551 (KB4462917), which is only available for Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education editions as version 1607 reached the end of service on April 10, 2018.

You can install the relevant Windows 10 cumulative update on your machines throughSettings > Update and Security> Windows Update> Check for updates. Alternatively, you can manually download these files from Microsoft Update Catalog.
