The Pixel Tablet finally hit the shelves earlier this week, and we have been getting some really nice reviews about Google's tablet. Simply put, this could be the company's return to form with its official tablet, and now that the company has a tablet, it can start supporting Android in a way that it has never before. However, the tablet still does not offer a lot when it comes to the competition even within the Android ecosystem. For instance, the tablet still has no official support for a keyboar and stylus but that might be changing soon as official evidence suggests that Google could have these two accessories in two for the tablet.

Google could be working on a stylus and keyboard for the Pixel Tablet but we will have to wait and see

Based on the discovery made by folks over at Android Authority, the PIxel Tablet does have support for both a keyboard and stylus. Upon examining the Retail Demo app, an app that is not found on actual units that are shipped to the users, a developer found strings that read "Keyboard for Pixel Tablet" and a "Pen for Pixel Tablet." Now, keep in mind that these strings were found on Retail Demo app and it cannot be accessed by the end user, however, the strings being there is more than enough of evidence.

That's not all, though. The Pixel Tablet also has support for USI 2.0 stylus pen, that is another evidence that Google does have something in works, it's just that we don't know anything about that. if that does happen, the tablet could end up becoming a very well rounded device for a lot of people. Google already ships a speaker/dock with the tablet, and having the ability to buy a keyboard and a stylus can easily make this tablet a productivity monster.

Whatever the case might be, it looks like that the Pixel Tablet is slated to get these accessories. The only thing that we don't know is when taht is going to happen. I have a feeling that Google will eventually launch these accessories when it launches the Pixel 8 series that is suppsoed to come out later this year. Not to forget, the company has been quietly improving Android 14 with more support being added for the tablets, too. So, if you have been looking forward to something decent from Google's side, this might be your time to pick up a tablet and wait for the accessories to come out.
