Niantic Labs has jumped onboard the holiday bandwagon by announcing a trio of limited time holiday item packs for Pokemon GO. This limited time offer will grant users access to Incubators, Incense, Great Balls and Ultra Balls. This offer is available for a limited time only, and will expire on December 30th. But the good news is that, after the offer has expired, new Bronze, Silver and Gold boxes will become available with even more surprises packed inside them. These boxes will expire on January 3rd, 2017.

This has been an exciting year for Pokémon GO! As we look ahead to 2017, we have one more surprise for you! We will be adding a few limited-time holiday item packs to the Pokémon GO in-game shop at a discounted rate. The morning of December 25 through the afternoon of December 30 (PST), we’ll be releasing Special, Great, and Ultra Boxes. Items in these Boxes include Incubators, Incense, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls. From the afternoon of December 30 through the afternoon of January 3 (PST) we’ll release Bronze, Silver, and Gold Boxes. Items in these Boxes include Incense, Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, Poké Balls, and Great Balls.

Keep one thing in mind,in order to buy these limited time holiday item packs, you will be required to chip out real money. First and foremost head over to the Shopsection in the game to buy some gold coins, only then you can grab yourself one of the three boxes on offer. If you control a Gym, andyou already have a stash of gold coins lying around, then you are golden already.
