Samsung May Introduce New ‘Deep Blue’ Color With The Galaxy Note 8
Samsung May Introduce New ‘Deep Blue’ Color With The Galaxy Note 8-August 2024
Aug 1, 2025 3:40 PM

Samsung's upcoming flagship, the Galaxy Note 8 has just got another reason for us to look forward to its launch. The device would be bringing a new colour in Samsung's palette - the "Deep Blue" colour. The company is reportedly prepping to launch the new colour option with the latest flagship.

To recall, the company introduced the fabulous "Coral Blue" colour with its ill-fated Galaxy Note7. Not to forget the recent Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ lineup that brought in the gorgeous Orchid Grey colour option. A tweet from Roland Quandt of WinFuture states that the Galaxy Note 8 will ship in three colour options - Standard Black, Orchid Grey, and the Deep Blue. There is not any image of the new colour on the Galaxy Note 8, so we don't really know how it would look on the device.

We do think that Samsung's "Deep Blue" would bear some resemblance to Google Pixel's "Really Blue" colour. With Samsung's premium metal and glass design, the Deep Blue colour would look rather fantastic on the Galaxy Note 8. Also, Samsung's recent teaser for the phone shows a blue S-Pen, so there is a high possibility that the same colour would be seen on the phone too.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 coming in Black, Orchid Grey and a new Deep Blue. At least.

Given Samsung's marketing strategies for the former flagships, we think that the Deep Blue colour would be its primary selling colour on the Galaxy Note 8. Even though the new colour would be dominant on the rear of the phone but the front bezels will still be black as we have seen on the Galaxy S8 lineup as“Infinity Display.”

Launching on August 23

Samsung will be officially unveiling the Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York on August 23. For now, the specifications of the phone are yet not confirmed although we do get to see rumours now and then. We think that the Galaxy Note 8 would be pretty much similar to the Galaxy S8 regarding features but with some upgraded specs like better RAM, dual-camera setup, and the S-Pen. All these features combined would ask for a higher pricing for the device. It remains to be seen what Samsung eventually announces for it.
