Apple has taken the wraps off its free App of the Week, and the crown goes to 'Sky Gamblers Air Supremacy,' which normally costs $0.99 on the App Store.

If you take a quick stroll through the 'Games' category inthe App Store, you'll come to realize that there are plenty of simulation shoot-em-up titlesliving in the 'free' and 'paid' sections. But none of them are likeSky Gamblers Air Supremacy, all thanks to its intense flying action and brilliant graphics. The title offers way too much ahead of its time, and that too on a mobile device.

Having taken the game for a spin on our iPhone and iPad, we have to say that the titlefeatures jaw-dropping graphics that does indeed match console quality. And to make the entire package even sweeter, the title also features intense single player and fast paced multiplayer modes.

If multiplayer is usually your cup of tea, then you'll be pleased to learn that all the basis are covered under the hood, with modes ranging from cooperative to the beloved free for all. Other modes include dogfight missions, classic deathmatch and so on.

Despite costing on a dollar on a regular day, it's great to see that the developers, along with Apple, are offering the title absolutely free. The game is worth the download, and goes on to show how high quality gaming can be like on such a small scale.
