Jailbreakers all around the world yesterday were in for a pleasant surprise. After Apple patched all the vulnerabilities used by the popular Pangu jailbreak tool in the iOS 8.1.1 update, users were left hanging in the open for a solution to jailbreak Apple's latest software update and once again get back all the added functionality offered by jailbreaking solutions.

Chinese company TaiG released their own jailbreaking tool for devices running iOS 8.1.1 and iOS 8.2 betas. While it would be wise to not use the TaiG tool just right now, but for those users who have used the tool and are experiencing problems, we have a couple of quick fixes that might help you out.

Turn Off Find My iPhone.

When using the TaiG tool to jailbreak their devices, several users are reporting an error screen. One way to remove this error is to turn off the 'Find My iPhone' service, which helps you locate your device in case it is lost. To turn off find my iPhone, simply head to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone and turn the option off. The iCloud menu should look like this.

Turn Off Touch ID.

Another step that you should take before running the TaiG jailbreak for your device, is to turn off Touch ID for phone unlocking if you are an iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 or an iPhone 5S user. To turn off Touch ID, head over to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and turn off the iPhone unlock option, as shown below.

Turn Off Passcode.

Turning off your passcode to unlock your iOS device is another must to step before you proceed with the TaiG jailbreak. Turning off passcode is an easy step. To turn off passcode, scroll down in the Touch ID and passcode menu shown above, and tap once on the turn passcode option to disable it.

Several other steps that are a prerequisite for the jailbreaking process include an internet connection during the process, the latest version of iTunes for you PC and a backup of your device before you start. So thats it folks. Let us know how things went in the comments section.
