The social networking giant, Facebook has been adding quite a handful of features in its app. For instance, the company recently launched Reactions that enable users to react differently to posts rather than just liking it. Moreover, Facebook also lets you share and play videos. Have you ever wanted to download Facebook videos and save them on your iPhone? If you have a jailbroken iPhone, it is possible to do so.

Download Facebook Videos On iPhone With FVideo

FVideo is a jailbreak tweak that lets you download Facebook videos from the official app and save them directly to your iPhone's Camera Roll. Third party apps and several websites also allows you to download Facebook videos but they're a hassle to use. With FVideo, you can easily download Facebook videos and view them offline at a later time.

Once you install the tweak, it will be activated by default. Just launch the Facebook app and scroll to the video that you want to download to your iPhone. Perform the tap and hold gesture on the video and the tweak will display a pop-up which would allow you to choose the video quality. The video quality can be either SD or HD, so choose the one that better suits your need.

Once you choose the video quality, a HUD will be displayed with a download progress bar. Once it is downloaded, it will be automatically saved to your iPhone's Camera Roll. In the Camera Roll you can watch the video and also share it with your friends. The app does not require any configuration and it is fairly easy to use with basic operations.

The only down side of the tweak is when you hold down the playback scrubber to move to a specific time. The tweak will recognize it as a press and hold gesture, thereby poping up the download option. So it's a little difficult to move to a specific time in video through the playback scrubber interpreting the touch as a false press and hold gesture. However,it's not that big of an issue.

Other than this small issue, the tweak works absolutely fine with good download performance. If you want to download Facebook videos on your iPhone, the tweak is available for free from Cydia's BigBoss repo. Be sure to have the latest version of Facebook installed on your iPhone.
