There are a number of services available that let you navigate and reach a certain destination with utmost ease. Google Maps and Waze definitely sit at the top of the food chain for many people, but Apple Maps is slowly catching up to the big names as well.

While Cupertino's mapping service might not work everywhere but it gets the job done in a very efficient mannerwhere it does. See, getting directions is one thing, but avoiding to pay a toll while reaching yourdestination is another. And you will be pleased to learn that Apple Maps actually lets you avoid toll roads and bridges completely. But how? It's a simple case of turning on a toggle switch and everything is taken care of in the background.

Tutorial

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Scroll down and find an entry called Maps. Open it once you have.

3. Now tap on Driving & Navigation.

4. See that Tolls toggle switch at the top under the Avoid section? Tap on it and turn it ON.

With this feature turned on, whenever you wish to navigate somewhere, all the toll booths and bridges will be avoided by default. But of course, if there is a toll which you can't avoid at all, then Apple Maps won't be able to do anything about it. Until or unless you are willing to go all Crazy Taxi and jump on top of a toll booth, which, of course, we will not recommend.

Quite frankly, usually the road or bridge with a toll is the quickest route to a destination. But if you are willing to save a few bucks, and don't really worry about gas prices, then this feature is the way to go.
