While it was already expected, the Redmond software maker has now officially confirmed that Windows 10 Redstone 4 (aka the Spring Creators Update) will be released in April, this year. It should be noted that Microsoft still hasn't officially revealed the name of the upcoming Windows 10 version. However, multiple reports have suggested that the company is planning to go with Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.

In an update made to a February blog post, Microsoft has offered a look into various OS versions and their support cycles, including Windows 10 Redstone 4 version 1803. The company plans to support this operating system version until October 2019.

The version number "1803" suggests that it will befinalized this month. It is likely the company willfinalize Windows 10 Spring Creators Update by the end of next week. The final operating system version is then offered to Insiders and through manual downloads before it's released to the public.

Microsoft's Windows 10Spring Creators Update is bringing a handful of new features, including HDR support, Game Bar makeover, Diagnostic Data improvements, Windows Update enhancements, Fluent Design changes, updated Windows App permissions, Timeline, and a number of privacy and security improvements. The company has also started to test the next Windows 10 update, known as Windows 10 Redstone 5.
