Microsoft began the process of Windows 10 October 2018 Update re-release yesterday after nearly 6 weeks of wait. The company also pushed cumulative updates to all the older versions of the operating system, including version 1809. It appears that the updates didn't end there as the Windows maker has also rolled out a cumulative update to those testing Windows 10 19H1.

Last week, Microsoft released a new Windows 10 2019 Preview Build to insiders in the Fast ring. Build18277 brought in a number of new features, including emoji 12 beta. The company is now issuing a cumulative update to Fast ring insiders who have updated their PCs to the latest Windows 10 2019 version.

The latest update blocks the update for a select few machines. "We have released Cumulative UpdateBuild 18277.1006(KB4470200) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring," the company wrote. The latestWindows 10 19H1 brings the following fixes and changes:

We’re putting an update block for this build in place for a small number of PCs that use Nuvoton (NTC) TPM chips with a specific firmware version (1.3.0.1) due to a bug causing issues with Windows Hello face/biometric/pin login not working.We’ve fixed a media display bug that was causing unexpected display rendering for some users.

With the October 2018 Update finally out of the way, Microsoft will focus more on the development on Windows 10 19H1. It is likely that the company will try to catch the bugs during the development process to make sure we don't see a repeat of version 1809 fiasco.
