When the iPhone 14 Pro series launched with Dynamic Island, the one thing that was evident immediately was that the Android manufacturers would soon start copying the feature. There was an app that could grant you Dynamic Island on your Android; honestly, it was a nice experience. We then learned that Realme might be working on a device with the same feature inbuilt, and now, we have Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G, a phone that has not hit the market, but it does have the notorious Dynamic Island.
Xiaomi 13 Lite reminds us how Dynamic Island on Androids is a reality
It's worth noting, however, that Xiaomi 13 Lite is Civi 2, which launched in October last year. Now that the phone is being rebranded for the international market, it has a different name altogether. The video was spotted by Sudhanshu Ambhore, showing the device's unboxing aside from the specs.

The phone is still unavailable in global markets, but we are hoping that Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 13 Lite, alongside the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, at the upcoming MWC 2023.
As far as the hardware is concerned, the Xiaomi 13 Lite brings a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, a 50-megapixel primary, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and a 20-megapixel macro camera. On the front, you are going to get a dual 32-megapixel camera.
The most significant difference between actual Dynamic Island and this Dynamic Island-shaped camera housing is that at the time of writing, Xiaomi has not developed software that could do all the trickery Apple's implementation could. However, you can still go for 3rd party apps, and we never know; Xiaomi might introduce a new software feature with the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Lite. But that is only speculation.
