Just like the Mi 8, the smartphone is rumoured to come with a notch and a facial recognition system. The listing has been taken downsince. However,in addition to revealing camera specs, the listing also said that the phone will retail for $489 USD after a discount of $73.
The FCC approved the POCOPHONE brand backin July and the listing revealed that the phone will be packing a 6.4-inch screen with reduced bezels, meaning a lot of screen real estate in return. There were some speculations that the creation of a new brand is a new strategy from Xiaomi to enter the U.S.marketand sell devices according to the rules set by the country government. It is yet to be seen if the POCO F1 coming to the U.S. will materialize, but for now, the POCOF1 is exclusive to the Indian market, with the launch expected to take place in New Dehli.
