Sony should be launching its latest WF-1000XM5 really soon as the earbuds recently leaked extensively, and today, we have another leak showing the revered WH-1000XM5 in a new color alongside Sony's WF-C700N earbuds. The leak shows us press images showing the headphones in brand new dark blue color, along with true-wireless earbuds in black color. These press images hint that Sony might be announcing and releasing these products very soon.
The Sony WH-1000XM5, WF-1000XM5, and WF-C700N should be releasing any time in the coming months
For those who do not know, the Sony WH-1000XM5 is the company's flagship over-the-ear wireless headphones, while the WF-C700N is for those who are not looking to spend a lot of money. These two will be joined by the WF-1000XM5, Sony's flagship true-wireless earbuds.
The leak comes as a courtesy of Roland Quandt, who has shared high-resolution press renders of the upcoming Sony headphones. Let's look at the beautiful WH-1000XM5 first.

The new Sony WH-1000XM5 color is this gorgeous dark blue with dark golden accents. Nothing else has changed, and we doubt that this is going to be a limited edition. Sony does release some new colors of their headphones after their release, so I am not surprised to see it. This color will be joining the already available black and beige options.
Next up, we have the Sony WF-C700N. These are going to be available in multiple colors. There is your classic black, then you have the beige that Sony has been using for some years. You also get mint green and lavender. You can have a look at the WF-C700N below:

The source also shared some specifications of the upcoming Sony WF-C700N. For the starter, each earbud is going to weigh just 4.6 grams, and the case itself is 41 grams. You get USB Type-C charging and a 300mAh battery.
The leak also reveals that the Sony WF-700N will offer 7.5 hours of battery life with ANC turned on and 10 hours with ANC turned off. The case will provide an additional 20 hours with ANC off and 15 hours with ANC on. Which is definitely an impressive battery life for these small earbuds. As for the price, the leak reveals that you are looking to pay around €120, which is around $130. So, not at all surprising.
I have been using the WH-1000XM5 ever since they launched, and they are quite possibly the best wireless headphones that you can buy for under $400. Sure, they are slightly on the expensive side, but considering the sound quality you are getting and the overall experience they provide, the price is more than justified.
