The AMD Radeon R9 280X is the top Radeon graphic cards under the Radeon R9 series that's available to users currently. The Radeon R9 280X is based on the 28nm Tahiti die featuring 2048 Stream processors, 128 Texture mapping units and 32 Raster Operators. The GPU core clock is maintained at 1000 MHz and the boost clock is configured at 1050 MHz. The Radeon R9 280X boasts a 3 GB GDDR5 memory running across a 384-bit memory interface that is clocked at an effective frequency of 6000 MHz (6 GHz). The card features Dual-DVI, HDMI and Display port and is powered through a 8+6 Pin power configuration.
