The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU is going to be a hot-seller when it launches with its amazing gaming performance value. Retailers are initiating placeholders for the new processor on each of the sellers' sites, with the most recent appearing on German retailer Future-X for €607.39, which includes the 19% VAT costs.

The new AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU is being displayed as offering a 20% boost in the gaming performance benchmarks against rival Intel's Core i9-13900K. While these are just official numbers and we have to wait a few more days before we get to see the reviews of the chip, early simulated results show that this would indeed be the case.

In the US CPU marketplace, AMD has confirmed the initial MSRP to be $449 but has not discussed pricing in EU markets. With the Ryzen 7950X3D & the 7900X3D listed at a thirteen percent increase from the price of the 7800X3D, it is speculated by the website ComputerBase that the cost will land near €509.

However, Slovic retailer Funtech is showing the initial price to be €530, which is in the ballpark of the most recent estimations. Retailer Future-X lists the cost at around €50 higher than other markets, with additional listings even higher (well over €800 for the newest processor). It is hard to thoroughly verify the listings and consider them placeholders until AMD officially announces pricing in those markets.

The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU will be the successor to the previous and first 3D V-Cache chip, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The processor will offer eight cores across sixteen threads and the same 104 MB cache (32 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache + 8 MB L2) as the 5800X3D. AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X3D will offer a base clock of 4 GHz and a boost clock of 5.0 GHz. In recent comparison benchmarks, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D was pitted against the upcoming Ryzen 7 7800X3D in four game titles, offering increased performance in all games tested.

In another benchmark from AMD, they placed the next-gen processor against rival Intel's Core i9-13900K, but in three other titles and one used in the other benchmark (Rainbow Six Siege). Interestingly, they left the performance of the other titles out of that set of benchmarks.
