Apple is planning major changes for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models in terms of hardware as well as the internals powering the handset. The news was shared by analyst Tim Long at the British bank Barclays, highlighting his expectations surrounding the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max (via MacRumors). We are all familiar with the list of changes coming this year, and the price increase is fairly justified. For one, the A17 Bionic chip based on TSMC's 3nm architecture is expensive compared to the A16 Bionic on the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Furthermore, the grade 5 titanium finish is also more expensive than stainless steel. Altogether, these changes will add up to the total cost, and if Apple aims to maintain or increase its profit margins, it will have to increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models. Other than this, the company is also replacing the Mute Switch with an Action Button that will offer a brand-new user experience.

Tim Long suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro could see a price increase of $100 while the iPhone 15 Pro Max could see a price increase of up to $200.
