AOKZOE Reveals A1 PRO & A2 Handheld Consoles With AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs, Launch Expected In 2 Weeks-March 2024
Mar 31, 2026 11:52 AM

AOKZOE has revealed its A1 Pro & A2 handheld consoles which it claims are the first to feature AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs.

AOKZOE Makes A1 Pro & A2 Handheld Consoles Official: AMD Ryzen 7 7840 4.7 GHz APU With Performance Equivalent To Intel's Core i7-12700H

AOKZOE has made a name for itself in the handheld community, alongside other consoles such as the Valve Steam Deck, One-Netbook's OneXPlayer, and AYANEO, to name a few. The company has revealed that its initial handheld, the AOKZOE A1 Pro, will receive an upgrade and also offer a new handheld, the AOKZOE A2, which will begin sales on the crowdfunding portalIndiegogo in a few weeks.

AOKZOE A1 Pro Handheld Console

AOKZOE released the A1 handheld console in July of 2022 on Kickstarter and became a crowd favorite due to its simple-to-control design and premium performance in most games. The company received over $1M in support from thousands of players seeking a premium handheld gaming experience that would rival the "big kid on the block" at the time, the Valve Steam Deck. The Steam Deck could maintain a significant lead in sales thanks to its cost-friendly options and comprehensive support. Still, it also had the backing of its proprietary operating system and several top partners.

Now, AOKZOE will release the A1 PRO, featuring the latest in AMD's 7000 series processors, namely the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, boosting performance by 20% compared to the previous generation. The A1 PRO will also offer a 1920 x 1200 screen resolution, measuring 8 inches utilizing a full-HD IPS display (283 PPI pixel density) and weighing only 729g.

The battery on the AOKZOE A1 PRO will also be revamped, offering users a 65W GaN mini fast charge adapter, producing 100W of power throughput, so they will not have to wait to jump back into their favorite game titles. Additional features for the A1 PRO by AOKZOE will feature a TF card slot, newly optimized triggers, and the famous Hall rocker.

AOKZOE A2 Handheld Console

The AOKZOE A2 is still a secret in most of the details. Still, the company was able to share that the system will offer a seven-inch full glass screen with IPS display, RGB ambient light around the joysticks, a weight of 600g, and a 48 Whr battery that the 65W GaN mini fast charge adapter will also charge. Additional features will include TF card support, Hall triggers, and the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU.

Pricing is still unknown, but the two Indiegogo placeholder pages (here for the AOKZOE A2 & here for the A1 PRO) already take signups for users wanting to know when the crowdfunding campaign will go live.
