The Apple Media Event which was to be held in September has now been planned for this August. It seems Apple is keen to hold this year's media event which means that previous rumours regarding a new iPod 4G and a new iPhone (CDMA on Verizon) may come true.

Although this information has been given by a "reliable source" there is still a possiblity of it being just a rumor since Apple hasn't confirmed anything officially. Besides the new iPod Touch, Apple may also release iOS4 for the iPad and iOS4.1 for the iPhone and iPod Touch to patch the jailbreakme exploit used by iPhone Dev Team to jailbreak iOS4 devices.
